FAQ

Business Credit FAQ

Is this credit repair?

No. We build the business's own profile from the ground up: registrations, online presence, D-U-N-S, and vendor accounts that report.

Can I do this myself?

You can. Most owners get stuck on the order. Vendor accounts opened before the D-U-N-S exists, or with mismatched records, often don't count.

How much does it cost?

The Business Establishment Program is $870 one-time. You can pay in three ways: $870 in full; a 2-payment plan of $435 today and $435 in 30 days; or Afterpay, 4 interest-free payments of $217.50 (subject to Afterpay approval; late fees may apply). A specialist confirms what fits your stage on the free consultation.

How long does it take?

Typically about 180 days. Timing depends on how quickly records are made uniform and on the business paying every account on time.

Do I have to pay for a DUNS number?

No. A D-U-N-S (DUNS) number is free from Dun & Bradstreet. You can request it on D&B's website; the paid rush options are optional.

Do you form my company or get my EIN?

No. You'll need your entity and EIN in place. We verify that your records are uniform everywhere the business is listed.

I'm a non-US resident. Can I build business credit for my U.S. LLC?

Yes. Owners of U.S. companies who live abroad, including owners who use an ITIN, can join. We start with vendors that approve on the company's EIN.

Do you guarantee a PAYDEX score or approvals?

No. Bureaus and vendors make their own decisions. The goal is a PAYDEX of 80 or higher, which typically reflects on-time payment. Read the guide: PAYDEX score explained

Will you ask for my SSN or bank details?

Never through this website. We don't collect Social Security numbers, full EINs, ITINs, bank or card numbers, or passwords.

How do I build business credit for a new LLC?

Start with uniform records, an EIN, a business bank account, and a website and listings that match. Then get a free D-U-N-S number and open Net 30 vendor accounts that report. Paying each one on time builds the file. That is the 8-stage order we follow.

Can I build business credit with only an EIN, without an SSN?

Often, yes. Some Net 30 vendors approve on the company's EIN alone, and that is where we start for owners who use an ITIN or have no U.S. personal credit. Other vendors may ask for an SSN or a personal guarantee; that is their decision.

What are Net 30 vendors, and which ones report to Dun & Bradstreet?

A Net 30 vendor lets the business buy now and pay within 30 days. Only some report those payments to Dun & Bradstreet, Experian, or Equifax, and their policies change, so we confirm reporting before the business applies.

What is a good PAYDEX score?

PAYDEX runs from 1 to 100. A score of 80 typically means bills are paid on time, as agreed; higher scores reflect paying early. A business needs a few reported payment experiences before a PAYDEX score appears. Read the guide: PAYDEX score explained

Does business credit affect my personal credit?

Accounts in the company's name report to business bureaus, tied to the EIN, not to your personal file. If you sign a personal guarantee, the vendor or card issuer may check or report to your personal credit, depending on its policy. Read the guide: Business vs. personal credit

What is a business tradeline?

Any account that reports the company's payments to a business bureau, such as a Net 30 vendor account. We help the business earn tradelines in its own name. We don't sell or rent tradelines.

Will business credit help my company qualify for a business loan?

It helps you prepare. When you apply for a business loan, lenders typically review the company's business credit reports (D&B, Experian, and Equifax), along with revenue, time in business, and often the owner's personal credit. We help establish that business credit profile so you are better prepared to apply with the bank or lender of your choice. ABC is not a lender and does not provide or arrange loans, and no approval is guaranteed. Read the guide: Loan readiness guide

Can a new LLC get a business loan?

Many lenders look for time in business, revenue, and an established business credit file, which is why a new LLC often has a hard time at first. Building reporting tradelines and a PAYDEX score now gives the company a payment history to show when it applies for business loans later. Each lender makes its own decision.
